What is Spinal Disc Decompression Therapy?

Spinal Disc Decompression uses a specialized table and computer control unit to apply a precise distraction, or “pull” along the axis of the spine while the patient lies on their back. This procedure takes pressure off of the nerves and spinal discs, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, it creates relief by decompressing the pinched nerve. As a result, bulging or herniated discs retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This in turn, helps promote movement of water and oxygen, bringing moisture back into the disc, reestablishing normal disc position and nutrient-rich fluids into discs so they can heal and alleviate nerve compression.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a non-invasive treatment that allows the body to absorb significantly higher levels of oxygen in a pressurized environment. During a session, you relax comfortably inside a hyperbaric chamber while breathing concentrated oxygen.

What to Expect During Your Session?

Before beginning treatment, our doctor will perform an exam and screening to ensure you are a good candidate and will benefit from Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

Your session takes place in our comfortable, fully monitored hyperbaric chamber. You’ll lie down, relax, and breathe normally while the chamber gently pressurizes. Most sessions last approximately 60 minutes.
